Make the available time usable

A meeting with an exact start time is different from a service visit with an arrival window. Configure the booking type for the work. Add buffers, minimum notice and a daily limit where you need them.

Ask for the information that changes how you prepare. An address or a short description of the job may be useful. You probably don't need the customer's life story before a twenty-minute call.

  • Leave space before or after a booking for preparation and travel.
  • Set how far ahead someone must book.
  • Offer the hours you can honor and keep existing commitments recorded.

Leave a clear plan for changes

Customers can use their booking-management link to cancel or request another time within the rules you set. You control the change cutoff and reschedule limit, so explain those rules before the customer needs them.

Choose e-mail reminder timings for confirmed bookings. Booking confirmations and reminders are separate from ordinary task and renewal dates on the calendar; don't assume every dated item sends an e-mail.

Connect your calendar deliberately

Google Calendar is an optional connection for a paid workspace. Signing in with Google alone does not connect it. If you enable Google sync for a booking type, check the connection and make a sample booking to confirm it appears as expected.

Keep busy time and booking availability up to date. A calendar connection should not be treated as a promise that every possible scheduling conflict is covered.

Try the whole guest experience

Open the link as a guest. Make a booking, read the confirmation, check the questions and try the change link. That short walk-through is more useful than admiring an empty calendar.

Payment collection is separate. Don't promise a deposit or appointment charge through BizzyBot's booking link. Use your existing payment arrangement.

Business examples from 2025 U.S. Census application data

What's the difference between owners, teammates and light users?

Owner: $12/month. The person who runs the business workspace, manages billing and decides who gets access.

Teammates: $6 per person, per month. They create or change projects, tasks, schedules and events, and use the calendars. Their permissions decide what they can change.

Light users: $0 per person, per month. They can view schedules and the jobs they're assigned to in the owner's workspace. People who edit that work need a teammate seat.
