Follow a change all the way through
Suppose a customer wants a cabinet moved. Before someone starts, confirm what is changing, who needs to review it and whether the price or date changes too. Put the settled decision on the project and give the follow-up to the person handling it.
Use a form to collect details or a Flow for an internal review. Neither automatically makes a submitted answer a legally sufficient change order. Keep using the agreement process your business requires.
Keep the address with the work
A project can hold the tasks, dates, notes and an address for the job. Use the map to see where scheduled projects are, then open the job for the detail. That helps when the morning starts in the truck rather than at a desk.
The map is not live vehicle tracking or automatic route planning. You still decide the order of work and allow time for the drive.
Give the crew a week they can check
Use Shifts for the crew's week, with groups, weekly templates and changes as the plan develops. Check availability before moving the installation. A supplier delay is annoying enough without discovering the only available installer is off that day.
Post a message when people need the context, then update the actual schedule. Keep the final answer where someone checking later will find it.
Build a job file someone else can use
Keep links to the current drawing and the relevant documents with the project. Note access instructions and the latest agreed scope. Make sure the people on the job can open the files, rather than discovering a permission problem at the door.
For licensing, the SBA points businesses to requirements based on activity and location. Check the agency responsible for your work and record the confirmed requirement. A calendar entry cannot decide whether you hold the right license for a particular job. (SBA: check licenses and permits for your activity and location)
Keep estimating and accounts in their proper tools
BizzyBot can record project expenses and organize the job. Detailed takeoffs, estimates, inventory and payroll need other tools. The QuickBooks Online connection supports invoice work through QuickBooks.
Before tomorrow’s job, open its record on your phone. The address, latest drawing and next action should be easy to find while somebody is waiting for an answer.

Questions & answers
Can the crew open a drawing from the job?
Yes, through an attached file link. The file stays in its storage location, and your crew needs permission to open it.
Will BizzyBot calculate my estimate or material quantities?
No. Use your estimating and takeoff tools for those calculations. Keep the confirmed work, tasks and dates in BizzyBot.
Can I use it on my phone between jobs?
Yes. BizzyBot is a web app. Keep job notes and links concise enough to use while you are out working.
Do people who only check their jobs need a paid seat?
Light users are $0 and can view their schedules and assigned jobs. People creating or changing work need an editing teammate seat.
Who is this for?
Are you a builder, a baker, a candlestick maker? Got a pulse and a small-business dream? Pull up a chair.
A few businesses that can use BizzyBot:

Starting out or already juggling customers, jobs and a calendar that won't sit still? Keep the details together so your head doesn't have to hold every last one.
What's the difference between owners, teammates and light users?
Owner: $12/month. The person who runs the business workspace, manages billing and decides who gets access.
Teammates: $6 per person, per month. They create or change projects, tasks, schedules and events, and use the calendars. Their permissions decide what they can change.
Light users: $0 per person, per month. They can view schedules and the jobs they're assigned to in the owner's workspace. People who edit that work need a teammate seat.
