A fairly winding route here

I grew up on my dad's dairy farm. My mom was a reading teacher. Over the years I've waited tables, worked in a pizza and ice cream parlor, roofed and painted houses, and taught middle school. I've also worked at Stanford, Tesla and Edward Jones.

That's a strange-looking résumé. It also means I've spent time around very different kinds of work. The person doing the job often knows exactly what would make the day easier. They just don't usually get to design the software.

The software should make room for your life

You can care deeply about your customers and still need to get home. You can love your trade and have absolutely no interest in becoming an expert at managing a dashboard.

I built BizzyBot around that person. Put in a customer or a task and start there. Leave extra fields alone until you need them. Hide tools that don't belong in your day. If you're the person who loves categories and carefully arranged approval steps, there's room for you too. Welcome, fellow tinkerer.

Automagic, with a person in charge

Bizzy is a fun character who represents the automation working in the background. He's the bot who wants more humans in his life, not more bots. The workspace doesn't use generative AI: you write the work and decide the rules. Flows can pass work along when a step is completed or approved. Trust me, our marketing team was VERY stressed about the potential confusion, but Bizzy really convinced us!

I do use AI tools while building the software. That's different from putting a generative assistant inside your workspace. Outside services you connect have their own technology and policies.

A business that needs to work for both of us

BizzyBot costs $12 a month for the owner, $6 for editing teammates and $0 for light users viewing schedules and assigned jobs. Every module is included. I want the price to be something you can understand without arranging a sales call.

The point is to help you do wonderful work for your own customers, with a little more room for the people waiting for you at home. That's what I'm working on here.

Tell me about the awkward part

If something feels harder than it should, email customer@bizzybot.com. Tell me what you were trying to do, in your own words. A small detail from your workday is often more useful than a beautifully written feature request.
