Make the change from both sides
Housecall Pro lets you schedule jobs and estimates on its calendar and assign people to them. Its scheduling product also describes dispatch and route-planning tools. (Housecall Pro: scheduling jobs and estimates; Housecall Pro scheduling)
Try the change once as the office and once as a technician. Can the office see the available person? Can the technician find the updated instructions? Then check the customer's experience. A schedule isn't finished when only one of those people understands it.
Put the full bill on paper
Housecall Pro lists Basic for one user at $59/month billed annually or $79 monthly. Essentials includes five users at $149/month billed annually or $189 monthly. These are standard prices checked 15 September 2026, without introductory offers. (Housecall Pro pricing)
List required add-ons, payment fees and the cost of the team you expect to have next. Ask for an exact quote where a configuration isn't clear. A trial is a better time to ask an awkward billing question than the week after renewal.
Two different reasons to change
If you want another field-service system, Jobber's scheduling and routing tools are worth examining alongside its customer hub. If you mainly need to organize work while an existing accounting setup handles invoices, a general small business workspace is another option. (Jobber scheduling; Jobber client hub)
Those paths solve different problems. Keep the dispatch, estimate and payment requirements on your list if they matter, even when an alternative has a much smaller price tag.
Where BizzyBot helps
BizzyBot keeps projects, task dates, customer notes, crew schedules and messages together. You can keep a familiar job as a template and use Flows for repeatable handoffs or approvals.
The owner pays $12/month, editing teammates pay $6 each, and light users can view their schedules and assigned jobs for $0. The job map shows locations; it doesn't track vans or automatically dispatch technicians. Invoices use the owner's QuickBooks Online connection.
Before turning off the old system
Check access to customer records, job histories, invoices and photos. Test a small export and open it somewhere independent of the old account. Don't assume that seeing a file on screen means it will be included in an export.
Bring over upcoming work first and tell the crew when the new schedule becomes the one to follow. Keep any records you must retain accessible. The switch should remove uncertainty, not give it a new password.

Questions & answers
Does BizzyBot automatically route the crew?
No. It can show job locations and team schedules, but it does not optimize driving routes or dispatch technicians for you.
Can I keep QuickBooks?
Yes, BizzyBot has an owner-only QuickBooks Online connection. Review how it handles customers and invoices before deciding which system will own each part of your records.

What's the difference between owners, teammates and light users?
Owner: $12/month. The person who runs the business workspace, manages billing and decides who gets access.
Teammates: $6 per person, per month. They create or change projects, tasks, schedules and events, and use the calendars. Their permissions decide what they can change.
Light users: $0 per person, per month. They can view schedules and the jobs they're assigned to in the owner's workspace. People who edit that work need a teammate seat.
