Suppose a customer asks for Tuesday afternoon. You have work on the BizzyBot calendar and a personal appointment on Google Calendar. Seeing the selected Google events beside the jobs gives you a fuller picture before you promise a time.
The connection brings events into the view you use for work. It does not turn every Google event into a project, or every project task into a Google event. Edit imported Google events in Google Calendar; keep the job's tasks, notes and people in BizzyBot.
Choose visibility calendar by calendar
Connecting an account is personal, not a company-wide grant of access. Select the calendars you want to use and choose whether event details are visible only to you or shared with the workspace as allowed by its access rules.
For calendars kept private, availability can use busy intervals without exposing personal event titles, descriptions, locations or meeting links to teammates. Check the sharing choice before adding a personal calendar. 'Busy' is often all the crew needs to know.
Three settings, three different jobs
You can use the parts of the connection that help. Showing Google events, copying BizzyBot meetings to Google and creating optional Meet links are separate choices. A connection does not mean you have to enable all of them.

Sign-in and calendar permission are separate
Signing in with Google gets you into BizzyBot; it does not connect your calendar. Enable the Google Calendar module, connect the account and review Google's permission screen. Then select calendars and sharing preferences.
Google lets you review third-party connections from your Google Account. Its guidance distinguishes using Google to sign in from allowing an app to access account data. That is a useful place to check which permissions you have granted over time. (Google: manage connections to other apps)
When customers need to choose a time
For customer appointment scheduling, BizzyBot also offers booking pages with curated availability, buffers and notice rules. Confirmed bookings have their own confirmation and configured reminder emails. Those features are separate from simply displaying an imported Google appointment.
Check selected calendars and booking-page availability after connecting so you can see which times customers will be offered.
Disconnect without deleting your appointments
You can disconnect Google Calendar from Calendar or Settings. BizzyBot requests token revocation and removes its stored connection credentials, preferences, calendar selections and imported-event cache. Existing events created in Google and meetings saved in BizzyBot remain until deleted in their respective places.
The connection covers Calendar and optional Meet links. It does not read Gmail or open your Drive and Docs files. The privacy page describes the calendar data stored to make the connection work.

Questions & answers
Does signing in with Google connect my calendar?
No. Calendar access is a separate connection with its own Google permission screen.
Can my teammates see my personal appointment details?
Review the visibility setting for each selected calendar. Private calendars can contribute busy intervals without sharing their event titles or other personal details with teammates.
Does it sync every task with Google Calendar?
No. The connection shows selected Google events and can copy BizzyBot meetings to Google. It does not convert every project task into a Google event.
Does this read Gmail or Google Drive?
No. The connection described here covers Google Calendar and optional Google Meet links, not Gmail, Drive or Docs.
Can I connect Outlook Calendar?
The calendar connection described here is Google Calendar. Microsoft account sign-in does not create an Outlook Calendar connection.
Will disconnecting erase my appointments?
No. Disconnecting removes the Google connection and imported-event cache from BizzyBot. Events already created in Google and meetings saved in BizzyBot remain until you delete them in the appropriate place.

Teammates: $6 per person, per month. They create or change projects, tasks, schedules and events, and use the calendars. Their permissions decide what they can change.
Light users: $0 per person, per month. They can view schedules and the jobs they're assigned to in the owner's workspace. People who edit that work need a teammate seat.
